KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Business/Accounting Analyst with experience evaluating systems from a business perspective and understanding basic controls necessary in accounting systems.  This is an ideal role for a highly analytical, technically savvy professional with excellent attention to detail and superb communication skills.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting plus five (5) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Diverse knowledge of Accounting, Reporting, and Accounting Systems
• Previous experience in the banking and/or financial services industry
• Ability to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

 Primary Duties:

• Validate data via system automation for Financial Reports and investigate discrepancies
• Collaborate with technical resources to resolve differences and provide feedback on the usability of new functionality
• Participate in preparing, reviewing, and presenting Quarterly/Annual Reports and monthly report validations
• Perform administrative duties and documentation in support of reporting and analytics functions
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of various spreadsheets used to facilitate accounting-related reporting needs

During ongoing pandemic safety operations, remote work is authorized. Candidates must be able to work onsite, at least on a hybrid basis, once onsite operations resume. Onsite operations are based in downtown Columbia, SC.
