KG Workforce Solutions is hiring for a Loan Servicing Assistant to support lending operations of a growing downtown Columbia, SC client. The Loan Servicing Assistant will use his/her excellent customer service skills to ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries and lender support requirements.

The Loan Services Assistant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Answering all inbound calls to resolve lender and customer inquiries and requests, and responding to partner inquiries while providing superb customer service and professionalism
  • Entering, monitoring and closing cases in the Bank’s case management system
  • Creating and monitoring tickets to track escalated request and complaints
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information in all applicable systems
  • Making adjustments, corrections, and changes to records and accounts within the defined authority and/or appropriately escalating issues in a timely manner
  • Assisting with interest rate reduction modification and recast requests for eligible borrowers and maintaining associated documentation
  • Adhering to corporate and mortgage industry standards, regulations, and guidelines
  • Meeting or exceeding all service standard requirements and metrics
  • Requesting, maintaining, providing, and reviewing reports
  • Provide supporting documentation for OFAC reviews
  • Reviewing annual 1098 statements
  • Validating weekly onboarding of loans
  • Identifying and monitoring Severe and Total Loss claims per schedule requirements
  • Monitoring and forwarding Fannie Mae claim payments for processing
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, associate degree preferred
  • A least two (2) years of customer service experience
  • At least one (1) year of mortgage lending experience
  • Excellent follow-up, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management systems, and other standard office software
  • Flexibility to handle constantly changing multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
