Position Overview
KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Director of Fulfillment to maintain a structured process for receiving and distributing assets in communication and coordination directly with customers. The Director of Fulfillment will ensure inventory is evenly distributed in a safe and efficient manner to distribution partners and multiple facilities and maintain the workflow necessary to meet safety and performance standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Models and drives strong project management, ensuring integration and communication, robust work plans, and visible accountability for objectives.
  • Researches,  recommends, and implements improvements to business processes and procedures.
  • Analyzes trends in technology and assesses the impact of emerging technologies to create efficiencies in distribution and logistics.
  • Develops, documents, and executes standard operating procedures across all facilities and delivery operations.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of productivity standards and goals.
  • Develops or directs metrics to measure distribution and fulfillment performance.
  • Cultivates a high-performance, result-oriented culture by maintaining positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including customers.
  • Documents program procedures and best practices.
  • Uses quantifiable metrics and management expertise, and performs departmental audits to determine cost benefit as well as demand and service capacity.
  • Ensures optimal effectiveness and production through effective use of inventory software specifically warehouse management, inventory procurement and management, labor control, and distribution logistics.
  • Serves as a member of the Leadership team.
  • Oversees existing and new programs relating to logistics, distribution, and sourcing.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Position Requirements

  • Seven+ years of related experience, with at least five years at a manager or director level.
  • Experience managing and leading a high-performance team of exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related study; master’s degree preferred.
  • High level of communication skills; professional and diplomatic ability to converse among multiple departments.
  • Ability to develop, nurture, grow, and enable strengths within teams.
  • Experience working closely with internal management groups and ability to provide support and monitor results.
  • Analytical skills and ability to run technical reports and draw insight to lead decision-making.
  • Traveling during the day is required. Occasionally, this role must respond to organizational needs outside of normal working hours.

 Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is set in both an office and a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, including freezers and outdoor weather conditions. The position is required to sit, stand, bend, twist, carry and lift objects up to 30 to 50 pounds. With forklift traffic in the facility and product stacked and stored throughout, this position requires someone who is mobile and who can hear and watch for traffic and normal hazards of a warehouse environment.
