 Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 a.m. ET - 5:00 p.m. ET)

Location: Columbia, SC (downtown); Onsite Required

KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to provide research, support, and calendaring for executive leaders. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following primary job duties:

  • Providing research and legislative support to the Executive Staff.
  • Completing policy and financially-related research projects.
  • Coordinating calendars and communication; appropriately prioritizing and interacting with multiple Executives and other stakeholders.
  • Compiling, documenting, and retaining information related to Agency initiatives and programs.
  • Monitoring and/or attending assigned events, hearings, and meetings.
  • Performing complex research and analysis on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Reviewing, drafting, and editing contracts and other legal documents.
  • Performing a broad range of administrative responsibilities while delivering quality and achieving tight deadlines.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, political science, accounting, finance, or another relevant major.
  • Three (3) + years of relevant experience in business management, legal administration, public administration, or project management.
  • Ability to coordinate diverse administrative functions.
  • Calendaring experience supporting executives.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, including high emotional intelligence, collaboration, humbleness, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superb planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and confidentiality at all times.
  • Intermediate-to-Advance skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Experience: 
Previous experience working with executive-level management is highly preferred.
