KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Lead Product Manager to establish, maintain, and execute product vision. The Lead Product Manager will define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of customer and business needs, organizational objectives, and existing systems infrastructure.

The Lead Product Manager will drive and participate in design, development, and implementation of assigned products. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for assessing the competitive landscape and identifying market opportunities for assigned products. Other responsibilities include:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and executing product vision and roadmaps for assigned products.
  • Assessing competitive landscape and driving acquisition growth and retention.
  • Identifying market opportunities and defining value propositions for products.
  • Ensuring clear and consistent alignment of product roadmaps with corporate strategy.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor for product-related matters.
  • Identifying opportunities for proof-of-concept (POC) validation and product enhancements.
  • Leveraging data and analytics to understand and analyze customer and business needs.
  • Identifying opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results.
  • Evaluating and communicating business value of product features.
  • Defining product strategy and leading development team(s) to execute product strategy.
  • Translating product roadmaps into requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria.
  • Monitoring product KPIs and ensuring success metrics are achieved.
  • Championing best-in-class user experiences and functionality.
  • Partnering with Marketing and Communications teams to develop successful strategies for product adaptation and positioning.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, management, or comparable field.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing software in the financial services industry.
  • Current understanding of market and industry trends in financial services and technology.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in product management supporting all phases of the product lifecycle using project methodology.
  • Experience leading and guiding sprints in an Agile environment.

This position will be remote for the foreseeable future. Onsite work in Columbia, SC may be required after the pandemic or as needed for critical business activities.
