The Marketing Coordinator will lead marketing activities and visual deliverables and oversee the company’s marketing analyst(s). The Marketing Coordinator will direct the marketing strategy and budget.

 What You'll Do:

Purposefully develop content that aligns with marketing goals and strategy. Manage multiple projects and organize resources. Create effective marketing campaigns and collateral, perform content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), display advertising, and drive social media efforts. Additional duties may include:

  • Producing compelling content for website and email newsletters.
  • Devising engaging slide decks and presentation materials.
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships and key partnerships.
  • Preparing interactive demos and designing prototypes for presentations and conferences to showcase products/services.
  • Creating internal marketing processes and training documents.
  • Experimenting with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, promotional materials, and more.
  • Creating and managing the marketing budget.
  • Measuring marketing campaign results; gaining performance data, conducting analysis, identifying trends, and assessing against goals.
  • Developing strategies and tactics to increase brand recognition.
  • Creating a referral campaign.
  • Identifying sponsorship opportunities, speaking engagements, and networking events to drive brand recognition and engagement.

 Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience identifying target audiences and leading marketing campaigns that engage across multiple channels.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Successful history of utilizing Social Media for increased followers and engagement.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; reliable and competent at prioritizing and adjusting timetables based on demand, budget, resources, and other circumstances.
  • Strategic mindset, able to drive priorities through completion.
  • Strong creativity and the ability to think of new ways to reach, engage, and educate target audiences.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Intermediate-to-advanced skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and other design tools.
  • Proficiency in using Invision and video editing tools.
  • Ability to translate ideas into requirements within a defined scope.
  • High energy and passionate commitment to a start-up environment.
  • Sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and communication.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail, and experience creating exceptional presentations.

Additional Information

This is a part-time role with the potential to turn full time. The ideal candidate will be based in Charleston, SC.
