As a Project Coordinator, your goal will be to ensure every project is created and executed successfully to add the highest possible value to the organization and its members/customers.  You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery and overall success of each project, program, and/or event, as well as streamlining and executing operational functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to liaison in coordinating and informing the stakeholders on detailed and accurate reports and/or presentations based on ideas and goals, and ensuring those are turned into action items
  • Initiate and set goals for multiple projects aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Set up new customers/members in internal systems and provide marketing (CRM) support
  • Plan and create projects from start to completion involving multiple processes and procedures for targeted milestones and deadlines
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity through effective policies and procedures
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in identifying and developing new sources of funding for special projects and programs
  • Develop and/or approve budgets and operations; process accounts receivable and payables and reconcile grant spending
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a start-up or high-growth organization preferred
  • Deeply passionate about serving others and building community; a true integrator with the ability to execute
  • Self-motivated individual who can view challenges as opportunities to grow and learn
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Multitasker with excellent communication skills
  • Event planning experience
  • Enjoys creating and analyzing data, metrics, and spreadsheets
  • Experience in the coordination of and/or writing grants is a plus!
  • HubSpot experience or ability to quickly learn
  • Familiarity with A/R and A/P (QuickBooks preferred)
  • Bachelor's (Preferred), BSc/BA degree in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Previous experience in project coordination or project/program management preferred
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite and project management software

Benefits: 401(k) only; additional benefits may be provided in the future but not offered at this time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 8am–5pm but may vary

Supplemental Pay: Bonus eligible

Logistics: Blend of onsite (downtown Columbia) and offsite/remote work
