The Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for IT, operational and financial, and consulting engagement auditing. The Senior Auditor will plan, design, and coordinate auditing activities deploying industry best practices.  The Senior Auditor will also be responsible for the following:

• Collaborating with organizational and departmental leaders to complete functional risk assessments, quality assurance reviews, and improvement strategies
• Planning and conducting audits, documenting findings, and submitting audit reports with recommendations and action plans
• Deploying professional audit standards and documenting/monitoring related trends and regulations impacting business and audit processes/requirements

The Senior Auditor should have the following experience, education, and abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or another related field
• 6+ years of auditing experience
• Strong background in financial and/or IT auditing
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• Mastery of internal audit standards and internal control frameworks, such as COSO, IIA, etc.
• Advanced ability to analyze and solve problems
• Knowledge of risk management practices
• Supervisory and/or project management experience
• Stable and progressive work history
• Consultative and collaborative mindset
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• Relevant certification(s) strongly preferred, such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP

This position has been approved for remote work. Applicants must be available to work during standard business hours EST/EDT. The ideal candidate will be located within three hours of Columbia, SC in case occasional onsite work is needed.
