KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Senior System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware, and networks. The resourceful System Administrator will diagnose and resolve problems quickly, and always be looking for ways to improve technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install/maintain/upgrade VMware / vSphere environments
  
• Design and implement IT policies and procedures for usage between on-premises and cloud environments
• Monitor and manage updates of production licensing servers
• Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
• Manage hardware and software purchase life cycle in multiple data centers
• Manage IT costs and ensure infrastructure is being optimally utilized
• Enhance and create automation by writing scripts in cloud environments
• Lead and manage IT security audits and functions

Qualifications:

• Experience with Windows and Linux (RHEL, SUSE) platforms
• Experience with physical, virtual, and AWS cloud environments (some Azure and Google Cloud also preferred)
• Administration-level cloud certification (AWS, Google, etc.)
• Keen attention to detail, prompt communication skills, ability to take initiative, and organizational skills
• 7+ years of related IT experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another closely related field; or equivalent experience required
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) preferred
