Primary Responsibilities and Opportunities to Make an Impact:
- Develop and publish cloud templates and images for product releases in AWS, Azure, and Linux platforms
- Collaborate on the design and building of an exciting new Linux clustering and replication product
- Build a cross-platform user interface for Linux
- Design and develop REST APIs
- Develop and maintain recovery kits for applications such as SAP, SAP HANA, Oracle, etc.
- Design and implement features on Linux product roadmap
- Collaborate with Windows engineering team to build a cross-platform user interface
What Qualifications Do You Need to be Successful in this role?
- Approximately three (3) + years of software engineering experience
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Strong Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in REST API
- Knowledge of computer science algorithms and data structures
- Scripting and coding experience (Perl, C++)
- Working experience with applications such as SAP / SAP HANA preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Location Details: This is a remote job. Candidates must be able to work EST/EDT hours for established meetings and other business-essential functions, but generous flexibility with schedules is a norm. Occasional onsite work in Columbia, SC may be required (so living close is a perk).
